NEXERA CoreIndustriesFood
Sold per kilo. Tracked per batch, shipped per container.
NEXERA Core was created at a frozen food producer that exports to Germany and overseas. Everything a food producer needs, from batches and best-before dates to CMR and health certificates, is therefore in the core and not in a module you buy on top.
Where this industry loses time every week.
This is what we hear in the discovery phase with food producers. Sound familiar? Then you know where a first phase begins.
Kilos, pallets and an invoice that has to be right
An order in kilos, a pallet with its own weight and an invoice on the loaded weight. Once that sits in three systems, it only adds up by hand.
Tracing where every batch went
A complaint or a recall needs the answer within an hour: which batch, which customer, which date. From folders and Excel, that takes a day.
Paperwork per shipment, every single time
CMR, delivery note, health certificate, EX-A. Every shipment needs the same set, in the customer's language, with the right weights on it.
How it works
Recorded once.
Six steps, one record.
From the first agreement to the last journal entry: what one step records, the next one uses. Nobody retypes anything.
Each step belongs to a module of the core. The module is shown alongside, so you can see where the work happens.
Quotation per kilo, in the customer's language
Price per kilo or per pack, with the customer's payment terms and credit limit. Accepted online or by email.
Quotations & ordersOrder with Incoterm and transport quotation
A CIF order is confirmed only once the transport quotation is accepted. The price build-up stays visible: product, transport, insurance.
Quotations & ordersProduction order produces a batch
Recipe, planned and produced kilos, production date and best-before date. The batch goes straight into stock.
Production & qualityQuality inspects and releases
A batch in quarantine cannot be loaded. Release by the Quality role, recorded in the audit trail.
Production & qualityLoading on FEFO, documents included
Delivery note with net and gross per pallet, CMR and health certificate from the same order. Incoming documents in the register.
Logistics & exportInvoice on departure, posted in balance
Sales invoice on the loaded weight, journal entry at 0% for intra-community supplies (ICP), bank import and scheduled payment reminders.
FinanceWhat often happens now, and how it runs in the core.
On the left, what we find at companies in this industry; on the right, how the same step works in NEXERA Core. No integration in between: it is always the same record.
Modules you do not need stay switched off.
From the same data, with rules the core enforces.
Documents come from the order and the shipment, in the customer's language. Rules sit in the core and do not rely on anyone keeping watch.
Documents in five languages. These are the main ones here.
- Order confirmation in the customer's language
- Delivery note with net and gross weight per pallet
- CMR, generated from the shipment
- Health certificate and EX-A request, drawn up internally
- Sales invoice with VAT code and ICP statement
What the core blocks, so that nobody has to remember it.
- A CIF order cannot be confirmed without an accepted transport quotation
- A batch in quarantine cannot be loaded
- 0% VAT within the EU only with a valid VAT number in VIES
- An item sold per kilo cannot be invoiced per piece
- An export outside the EU without export evidence goes on the watch list
What is standard, and what becomes yours.
Three layers. The core is the same for every customer, the set-up is configuration, and the customisation is code that we write and maintain for you.
Already in place, in every industry
- Batches, best-before dates and FEFO
- Price and invoice per kilo
- CMR, delivery note and VAT rules
Configuration, not new code
- Recipes and item codes
- Documents and languages per sales market
- Roles: Production, Quality, Warehouse
Built for this industry
- Inspection steps for your markets
- Integration with scales or labelling
- Your own documents, such as a specification sheet
NEXERA Core already runs in this industry. This is what you will see.
At customers in this industry, NEXERA Core replaces the industry package and the separate accounting. In a demo we show that set-up, anonymised, alongside your own documents.
What runs at customers in this industry.
- From quotation to journal entry in one environment, replacing the old industry package and the accounting package
- Batches with best-before dates, quality release and FEFO when loading
- CMR and delivery note from the shipment, with the weight from the scales
- Bank import, reconciliation, payment reminders and XAF export in the core
What we show, with your own orders.
- An order in kilos from quotation to invoice, including the transport quotation
- A batch from production order to customer, and back
- The documents for a shipment, in your customer's language
- The set-up at a customer in this industry, anonymised
Yes. Best-before dates, batches and FEFO are not tied to frozen food. For fresh products with a short shelf life, we set the monitoring per day instead of per week.
Yes. Film, artwork, box and palletising are fixed per customer as an agreement and appear as a snapshot on the order line. The item code itself does not change.
The core draws up the health certificate and the EX-A request from the shipment. Third-party documents, such as the export document and the certificate of origin, are archived with their reference on the shipment.
A first phase with contacts, items, orders and shipments usually goes live within 12 weeks. We run in parallel with the current system and then add production and finance.
