NEXERA CoreIndustries
Built in a factory that exports. Set up for your industry.
NEXERA Core was created at a frozen food producer that sells per kilo, tracks per batch and exports per container to Germany and overseas. That core suits more companies than one. These are the industries where it already fits today, and what each industry adds.

The core is the same. The set-up is not.
Contacts, orders, stock, logistics and accounting work the same way in every industry. What differs lies in three areas that we set up for each customer.
Units and prices
Per kilo or per piece, with net and gross weight per pallet, daily prices or price books per period, and customer agreements that take precedence over the price book.
Documents and rules
Which documents a shipment needs, in which language, and which rule holds an order back: a transport quotation, a credit check or a quality release.
Terms and roles
Recipe or bill of materials, batch or serial number, quality or inspection. The screens use the words of your industry, and the roles follow your organisation.
Frozen and processed food producers
Sold per kilo, tracked per batch, exported per container.
This is where NEXERA Core comes from. The core was built for a producer that processes raw materials into batches, sells those batches under its own and private labels and ships them with the right paperwork within the EU and beyond.
- Prices and invoices per kilo, with net and gross weight per pallet from the delivery note
- Batches with production date and best-before date; when loading, the earliest expiry goes first (FEFO)
- Quality control per batch, with quarantine and release by the Quality role
- Recipes and production orders that produce a new batch
- Private label per customer: film, artwork, box and palletising as a fixed agreement on the order line
- CIF orders are confirmed only once the transport quotation is accepted; the price build-up stays visible
- CMR, delivery note, health certificate and EX-A request from the same order; incoming documents in the register
Fresh produce trade and export
Daily prices, batches that cannot wait and paperwork that has to go out today.
Trade in vegetables, fruit and other fresh produce runs on the same core as manufacturing, without the production module. Purchasing and sales use the same item and the same batch, so the margin per batch is visible.
- Purchasing and sales on the same item, with margin per batch and per customer
- Price agreements per customer that take precedence over the price book, valid per day, week or season
- Batches with origin, weight and shelf life; when it is gone, it is gone
- Transport requests and quotations per shipment, CIF, DAP or ex warehouse
- Order confirmation, delivery note and CMR in the customer's language: Dutch, German, English, French or Spanish
- 0% VAT within the EU only with a valid VAT number; outside the EU with monitoring of the export evidence
- Bank import, reconciliation and scheduled payment reminders, so short payment terms are met as well
Meat, fish and dairy processors
Sold by weight, transported chilled, every batch traceable.
An order in pieces, an invoice on the weighed weight and a batch that can be traced from raw material to customer. Those are exactly the three things already in the core.
- Invoicing on the weighed weight of the shipment; an item sold per kilo cannot be invoiced per piece
- Batches with slaughter, catch or production date, best-before date and origin, from receipt to delivery
- Inspection per batch, quarantine and release by the Quality role, recorded in the audit trail
- Chilled transport through carriers and forwarders recorded as contacts in the system
- Document register for health certificates, export declarations and inspection reports per shipment
- Several legal entities in one environment, for example processing and trading posted separately
Industrial manufacturers and technical wholesale
Made to order, with a bill of materials, and sold across borders.
Beyond food, the core suits companies that make or trade configurable items and supply within the EU. The accounting, the approvals and the export rules are the same; the units are pieces rather than kilos.
- Item configurator with a fixed code structure, so a variant always gets the same code
- Bills of materials and production orders, with the quantities produced booked back into stock
- Quotations with versions and online acceptance, in the language and on the terms of the customer's country
- Price books per period and customer agreements, with approval for a new price book
- Purchasing with goods receipt, invoice matching, approval and payment runs to the bank
- Projects as cost objects, reverse charge VAT, the EU VAT number check (VIES) and the ICP return from the core
Fashion, brands and wholesale
Sold per season, delivered per size and colour, to stores across Europe.
Fashion and lifestyle brands and wholesalers sell in advance per season and deliver per size and colour to stores and chains. Contacts, pre-orders, stock, delivery and invoicing are in the core; we add the size and colour matrix and the integrations with retailers.
- Items with a fixed code structure by style, colour and size, and an EAN per variant
- Price books per season and agreements per store or chain that take precedence over the price book
- Pre-orders and back orders per season, with the order confirmation in the customer's language
- Stock per warehouse and location, allocation to orders and a delivery note per delivery
- Shipments with CMR within the EU; 0% VAT only with a valid VAT number from the store
- Purchasing from manufacturers with goods receipt, invoice matching, approval and payment runs
- Credit limit per customer, scheduled payment reminders and bank import, so the season is also paid for
Retail and store chains
Buying, distributing across stores and knowing every day what is where.
Store chains and retailers with several branches run on purchasing, stock per store and accounts that are correct for each branch. The till stays the till; NEXERA Core is the system behind it.
- Items with EAN, purchase and sales price, and price books per period
- Stock per store and warehouse, with transfers between branches carried through into the accounts
- Purchase orders with suppliers, goods receipt per store or centrally, invoice matching and approval
- Several legal entities or branches in one set of accounts, with cost centres per store
- Bank import, reconciliation and payment runs; scheduled depreciation of fixtures and refurbishments
- Dashboards per store and a morning briefing per role, straight from the general ledger
Who NEXERA Core is for, and who it is not for.
Customisation on an existing core only pays off if your process really differs from the standard. This is how you can tell.
B2B, with a process of your own and a border in the chain.
- Between 20 and 250 employees, with sales, operations and finance as separate departments
- You supply businesses or sell from several stores, often across borders
- Orders, stock and accounting now sit in two or more systems, with Excel in between
- A batch, a weight or a configuration determines what goes on the invoice
- Someone knows the process from the inside and is given time to help build
If a standard package will do, we say so.
- You sell only online to consumers, without significant stock or purchasing of your own
- Only the accounting needs to improve; the rest runs well
- Fewer than ten people work in the system
- The process is standard and an off-the-shelf package fits without workarounds
- You want a shared SaaS environment without a database of your own
Is your industry not listed? Then we start with three documents.
Every set-up starts the same way: with real documents from your process. From those we can see within one conversation whether the core fits and what needs to be added.
01 · Three documents
Send an order, a delivery note or consignment note, and an invoice as they are now. We show how they run in NEXERA Core, with your terms and units.
02 · Set-up
We set up units, prices, documents, languages and rules on the core. That is configuration, not new code.
03 · Customisation where the industry differs
What your industry does differently, we build on top: an inspection step, a scale integration, a document of your own. Tested in your test environment, in parallel with the current system.
No. The core is generic: contacts, orders, stock, logistics and accounting. For each customer we set up units, documents, languages and rules, and we build on top whatever the industry does differently. You get your own environment, not a shared industry solution.
Because that is where the core was created and proven. The first customer is a frozen food producer that sells per kilo and exports to Germany and overseas. Everything needed for that, from batches and FEFO to CMR and health certificates, is in the core.
No. Modules you do not use stay switched off. Purchasing, sales, batches, logistics and accounting also work without production orders.
Integrations are built to order for each customer. We start with what the core already does, such as the weighed weight on the delivery note and the invoice, and then connect the equipment you use.
Yes. The point of sale and the web shop stay as they are; NEXERA Core is the system behind them. Sales and stock from the point of sale and orders from the web shop come in through an integration, which we build for each customer and check in the test environment.
No, they are starting points. In the discovery phase we map your supply chain and decide for each part whether it is configuration or customisation.
Send three documents: an order, a delivery note or consignment note, and an invoice. Within one conversation we can see whether the core fits and what needs to be added. If it does not fit, we say so.
