NEXERA CoreIndustriesFashion and brands

Sold per season. Delivered per size and colour.

Fashion and lifestyle brands and wholesalers sell in advance per season and deliver per size and colour to stores and chains across Europe. NEXERA Core runs at customers in this industry: pre-orders, back orders, stock, delivery and invoicing in one environment.

Where this industry loses time every week.

This is what we hear in the discovery phase in fashion and brands. Does this sound familiar? Then you know where a first phase begins.

One style, forty variants

Colour and size turn one style into forty items. Without a fixed structure and an EAN per variant, the stock no longer adds up anywhere.

Pre-orders delivered months later

Sold in October, delivered in February, back orders in March. What a store is still owed sits in a spreadsheet per sales agent.

A season that has to be paid for

A credit limit per store, payment terms per country and a payment reminder that is never sent because nobody keeps the list up to date.

How it works

Recorded once.
Six steps, one record.

From the first agreement to the last journal entry: what one step records, the next one uses. Nobody retypes anything.

Each step belongs to a module of the core. The module is shown with it, so you can see where the work is done.

Step 01

Collection and price book per season

Style, colour and size with an EAN per variant. A price book per season, with agreements per chain that take precedence over it.

Items & pricing
Step 02

Pre-order per store

Order confirmation in the language of the store, with the size and colour matrix per style and the delivery period.

Quotations & orders
Step 03

Purchasing from the manufacturer

Purchase orders for the quantities sold plus stock, receipt per delivery, invoice matching and approval.

Purchasing & payables
Step 04

Receipt and allocation

Received variants are allocated to pre-orders. Whatever has not yet arrived stays open as a back order.

Stock
Step 05

Delivery with delivery note and CMR

Delivery note per delivery, CMR to BE and DE, 0% VAT only with a valid VAT number for the store.

Logistics & export
Step 06

Invoice, credit limit and payment reminder

Invoice per delivery, credit limit monitoring, bank import and payment reminders on a schedule per country.

Documents and rules

From the same data, with rules the core enforces.

Documents come from the order and the shipment, in the customer's language. Rules are built into the core and do not depend on anyone paying attention.

Documents

Documents in five languages. These are the main ones here.

  • Order confirmation with size and colour matrix, in the language of the store
  • Delivery note per delivery and back order
  • CMR for deliveries to BE and DE
  • Sales invoice with reverse-charge VAT or the VAT of the country
  • Weekly overview per store, emailed automatically
Rules

What the core stops, so that no one has to remember it.

  • One style, colour and size is always one item with one EAN
  • A delivery above the credit limit waits for approval
  • 0% VAT only with a valid VAT number for the store
  • A back order stays open until it is delivered or cancelled
  • Payment reminders follow the schedule for each country
Core and customisation

What is standard, and what becomes yours.

Three layers. The core is the same for every customer, the set-up is configuration, and the customisation is code that we write and maintain for you.

The core

Already in place, in every industry

  • Variants with EAN and price books
  • Pre-orders and back orders
  • CMR, VAT rules and credit limit
Set-up

Configuration, no new code

  • Seasons and collections
  • Size and colour ranges
  • Terms per country
Customisation

Built for this industry

  • Size and colour matrix on screen
  • B2B ordering portal for stores
  • Integration with web shop and retailers
In practice

NEXERA Core already runs in this industry. This is what you will see.

At customers in this industry, NEXERA Core replaces the industry package and the separate accounting system. In a demo we show that set-up, anonymised, alongside your own documents.

Every combination of style, colour and size is one item with one EAN. On screen we show them as a matrix per style; we build that matrix for each customer as customisation.

A B2B ordering portal for stores is customisation on top of the core: the same items, prices and credit limit, with orders that go straight into NEXERA Core.

Yes, through an integration. Web shop orders come in as sales orders; stock and prices go from the core back to the web shop. The web shop remains the web shop.

A back order is an open line on the pre-order. On receipt it is allocated and delivered, or the line is cancelled.
